Letter from the English privy council to Sir Arthur Chichester, lord deputy, recommending that up to 200 willing former soldiers of the Nine Years War (Irish or otherwise) go into military service in the Low Countries, following Captains Walter de la Hoyd, Maurice Geraldin [FitzGerald], and William Darcy, assembling in Munster. Sent from Greenwich June 1605, and received 28 July.
