This accessibility statement applies to content published on https://virtualtreasury.ie
The Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland is committed to making its website accessible.
We are fully committed to ensuring as many people as possible are able to use this website, and committed to implementing more WCAG guideline-driven usability features in the post-launch refinement phase now underway.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for improving website accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. This means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Accessibility to this website relies on certain technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used. A comprehensive list will be collated in the post-launch refinement phase now underway.
Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of this website, there may be some limitations. We will include a comprehensive list of known limitations, and potential solutions in the post-launch refinement phase now underway.

As we continue to implement more WCAG guideline-driven usability features in the post-launch refinement phase, additional scanning will be completed.
