Robert Crawford to Cornwallis. Dated 'Castlebar, Tuesday night, 12 o'clock, 14 September. (copy)'. He believes that the enemy has marched towards Sligo, to attack General Lake. The French have left behind wounded officers and men, and ammunition. Says it may be worth sending a small party to destroy this ammunition. He will provide an update at daybreak on the enemy's movement.
