Townland survey of lands in a single Barony forfeited under the Act for Settling Ireland, 1652, based on the Gross, Civil, Down and Strafford surveys, 1636-1658. These lands were distributed under several acts, courts of decree and by other instruments, 1659-1703. The surveys and transfers are presented in tabular format in the Books of Survey and Distribution.

Archival HistoryThis set of the Books of Survey and Distribution are copies made for the Quit Rent Office, Custom House Dublin from the original volumes then at the Auditor General's Office. The AG set was destroyed at the PROI in 1922. The QRO copy was made in 1759 and the set is now in the Quit Rent Office collection at the National Archives of Ireland.
