This fiant corresponds to the enrolled letter in Calendar of the patent and close rolls of chancery in Ireland, of the reigns of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary and Elizabeth, volume 1: 1514–1575, edited by James Morrin: (p. 16, art. 46.). This fiant was listed by the Irish Record Commission, 1810–30 (National Archives, Ireland, RC 17) and assigned the following number: 157. The fiant was originally written in Latin, and calendared in English in the late nineteenth century.
